Welcome to the final edition of our product & community update for 2023!

The past couple of months have been huge for the team here at Stables, and for our users globally - so in case you missed it, here’s what has been keeping us busy in November and December.

TLDR
  • CEO of Circle and CEO of Nansen spotted using Stables
  • USDC deposits on Solana are live
  • DAI and PYUSD support added
  • Three new partnerships for Stables across Australia and the Philippines
  • Continued growth across the Philippines

What’s New

📱 Social Media Praise from Circle and Nansen CEOs

We love receiving feedback from our users all around the globe, but we were super excited when our Twitter notifications exploded over the weekend - seeing not one but two shoutouts from crypto giants Circle and Nansen.

Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Stablecoin Issuer Circle, was impressed with our launch into the Philippines and the support of e-wallets. Check his tweet here.

Meanwhile, Alex Svanevik, the CEO of crypto intelligence platform Nansen loved being able to pay freelancers in the Philippines directly into their GCash account. Check his tweet out here

⌛ Wen Solana? Now!

Our most requested blockchain since launch has by far been Solana. With plans to launch in early 2024, the team got to work to deliver an early Christmas present to our Solana maxis, with support for USDC deposits going live on December 6th.

We’ve had an amazing response from the Solana community and even hosted an event alongside Solana Australia to celebrate. Keep your eyes peeled as we look to support even more blockchains in 2024 - tag us in socials to let us know what blockchain we should add next!

🆕 DAI and PYUSD supported

Speaking of new additions, we launched support for the third largest (and arguably one of the original) stablecoins, DAI as well as one of the newer stablecoins on the block from the team at PayPal, PYUSD.

Deposits are supported on the Ethereum mainnet, with additional support for withdrawals and deposits across other blockchains coming soon. Read more via our blog post here

🤝 Partnerships Galore

Stables announced three new partnerships over November and December. Our good friends in Melbourne, Australia, at UpsideDAO, as well as up north in Brisbane with All Things Blockchain. We’ll be featuring at their meetups and events throughout 2024, so for our Aussie fam, be sure to keep an eye out for events across those cities.
We also announced our first partnership in the Philippines with Bitskwela. This will see Stables featuring educational content for financial literacy in the Philippines across blog posts, videos and social posts.

Check out their awesome video on stablecoins.

🇵🇭 Philippines Growth

Speaking of the Philippines, we’ve seen an enormous amount of support, signups and momentum to mark our first global market outside of Australia we’ve launched into. We appreciate all the support locally and abroad and will be bringing this energy to new markets throughout 2024. So if you’re keen for Stables to come to your country, you don’t have much longer to wait… 🇪🇺🇹🇭🇲🇾🇻🇳🇮🇩🌐

And that’s a wrap!

A big shout out to everyone who has supported us this year. Enjoy the last couple of weeks of 2023, we’ll be busy building and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store.

See you all next year – bigger and better than ever!
