Stables takes on Latin America with Koywe Partnership

Stables, a leading stablecoin payment platform, proudly announces its expansion into Latin America through a strategic partnership with Koywe.
This collaboration establishes new payment rails across the LATAM region, enhancing financial freedom and innovation for millions. Following Stables' recent successful ventures into Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa, this move solidifies its global presence.
Latin America is experiencing rapid growth in financial technology, with a pressing need for secure, efficient, and cost-effective payment solutions.
The partnership with Koywe means users in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico will be able to start with stablecoins and end in their local currency. This initiative bridges the gap between traditional banking systems and the emerging crypto economy, providing a seamless transaction experience.
The region has shown significant grassroots adoption of cryptocurrencies, with three countries ranking in the top 20 of the Global Crypto Adoption Index; Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. Crypto is growing to be an integral part of day-to-day life in many other countries throughout the area as well, particularly those facing currency devaluation.
As crypto adoption increases, many people in Latin America are opting to receive their paychecks in USDT. Current estimates of total market cap of cryptocurrencies in Latin America is $200 billion USD, with Tether’s estimated cap for the region ranging between 2.2% and 4.4%.
